Had an amazing stay with a gorgeous view at Kalista Resort. The hotel staff is very polite especially the restaurant staff. Food taste and quality is also good and far better from what we get in local restaurants. Rooms are spacious but the hotel can improve the amenities and toiletries provided. Overall a very nice and cozy hotel.

The best part of our trip was staying at this hotel. There is nothing to be compromised. Well mannered staff. Good quality food at the ground floor restaurant. The price and taste compared to the outside restaurant is amazing and budget friendly also. We just loved our stay at kalista.

Amazing experience at Kalista Resort. It's located in a very quiet and peaceful location of Burwa village. The mountain view from the hotel room was stunning. Imagine lying on your bed from where you can clearly see the green/brown mountains and it's sun-kissed snow-capped peaks. Also, add the neighbouring apple orchards. Our deluxe hotel room was spacious, clean and hygienic. Washroom great too with Geyser facilities. Private balcony provides a great place to sit and enjoy the surrounding. The Hotel people are very helpful, polite and friendly. The food was nice too. We stayed for 5 nights and felt at home always. Overall, top notch service. Only downside could be the distance from city center (Mall Road) as the transportation option is not readily available. But you can easily ignore this, because you would normally have your sightseeing cabs pre-hired for hotel pick-up anyway. To us, the peaceful scenic atmosphere was much more preferred than the crowd and rush. So, it was totally worth it. Overall, I would definitely recommend Kalista Resort.

Stayed for two days with family, including a small kid, in a delux room, as part of a holiday package booked with MakeMyTrip. Though the hotel is described as a 4-star hotel on the aggregator app, it can best be described as an ordinary hotel. The street leading to the hotel is very narrow. The room was old and filthy, chair seat covers torn and the toilet seat cracked. The electric kettle provided had no top cover and the towels were in a tattered state. There were gaps around the door frame and visible filth accumulated near the edges. Though the hotel staff was requested for changing the room, the other delux rooms were observed to be in a similar state. When requested for a room upgrade, it was informed that all premium rooms were fully booked, though the small number of guests at the hotel suggested otherwise. There was strong odour from cooking in the hotel kitchen located below the room. The hotel star rating on MMT, therefore, seem misleading. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Manali.

I would prefer taking the same place when i visit again. Such a beautiful view and the service is superb. Only issue i found is its bit far away from Mall Road,and when i got down bus the drivers where saying a bad choice of location since its difficult to get cabs, but service provided cab if we needed, also the stay is worth it. Wonderful location.

Stayed a night in this awesome hotel in October last year and in November this year. The location is great. The room was clean, cozy and spacious with awesome views from the balcony. They even provided a heater blower. Food was delicious and quantity was very good. Service and staff behaviour was top notch. All in all, a very good stay and totally value for money hotel. Would stay again when in Manali.
